Continuous Education is a necessity in nursing especially that this profession is constantly advancing and upgrading. In order to become a competent nurse, one should allot time for trainings, seminars and workshops. These then provide knowledge, skills and awareness on appropriate attitude in order to function efficiently and effectively as nurses.

The Philippine Nurses Association located at Benitez St., Malate, Manila is assisting nurses to achieve competence. One of their projects is to conduct series of seminars and trainings for nurses who plan to update their know-how. Scheduled seminars from January to May this year are already posted at the office.  Seminars have limited slots thus interested participants should reserve a slot on their preferred topics as early as possible.

Seminar rate:

PNA MEMBER: 400php

PNA NON-MEMBER: 500php

  • 30% discount for the first 10 participants
  • 15% discount for the second 10 participants

There are two ways to pay for the seminar fee. The first way is by visiting the PNA office at Malate before the conduct of the preferred seminar or training. You can also pay thru bank, just note this process:

Jot down in your deposit slip the following information: NAME, CONTACT NUMBER, TITLE and DATE of ENROLLED TOPIC.

Fax or Email the scanned deposit slip to: fax no. 5251596 or email ad: sherelltabafunda@yahoo.com

Then wait for their confirmation.

 

In the midst of the issue on oversupply of nurses, it is important that we outstand. Continuous Education and constant upgrading of self are the best ways to compete in this sea of white uniforms.
