Continuous Education is a necessity in nursing especially that this profession is constantly advancing and upgrading. In order to become a competent nurse, one should allot time for trainings, seminars and workshops. These then provide knowledge, skills and awareness on appropriate attitude in order to function efficiently and effectively as nurses.
The Philippine Nurses Association located at Benitez St., Malate, Manila is assisting nurses to achieve competence. One of their projects is to conduct series of seminars and trainings for nurses who plan to update their know-how. Scheduled seminars from January to May this year are already posted at the office. Seminars have limited slots thus interested participants should reserve a slot on their preferred topics as early as possible.
