Training Description:
The course is designed to enhance knowledge, skills and attitude of an EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN – B in accordance with the industry standards.
The qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to perform the following:
(1) Basic Life Support
(2) Maintain life support equipment and resources
(3) Implement safe access and extrication procedure in an emergency
(4) Manage request for ambulance service
(5) Allocate ambulance service resources, coordinate resources
(6) Deliver basic ambulance communication skills
(7) Supervise on-road operation
(8) Manage the scene of an emergency
(9) Manage the scene of a special event
(10) Manage routine scene
(11) Deliver pre-hospital patient care
(12) Deliver intensive pre-hospital patient care
(13) Manage ambulance operations
(14) Transport emergency and non-emergency patients

Certificates after the training:
> EMT-B
> BLS with AED
> Airway management
> Basic ECG training
> OJT
> Grades
> Transcript of records (after NC2)
> National certificate from TESDA (after passing the assessment exam)

Training Schedule:
> Lecture: 18days/160hours Monday-Saturday
> OJT: 10days/240 hours

Qualifications:
> Have attained at least 2nd year college level
> Preferably from an allied health course
> Medically cleared

Training requirements:
> Transcript of records
> 2x2 pictures 2pcs
> Drivers license
