I am a nurse who currently works at the KtDOQI Dialysis Center. I believe that every person is entitled to his/her opinion. Based on my more than 2 years of stay at the KtDOQI Dialysis Center, I could say that my stay has been worthwhile. I have learned procedures that I haven't encountered in the past. I have dealt with different kinds of people and I have developed independence and confidence.

Working abroad is not easy. It takes a lot of strength physically and emotionally. A weakling would not survive it, regardless where you work. I myself had been weak, but I have found strength from the goodness I see around me, like my colleagues, my boss, the owner of the Company who treated us with much respect and support, the Management, up to the bottom part of the Organizational Chart. Don't get me wrong, not everyone had been nice, just like in any other Organization, there are bullies and there are friends… but if we have goodness in our hearts, someone will find and cradle us with care. We are a family and it saddens me to know that someone I have worked with felt this way. I wish I could have talked to him/her, because for all we know, this employee had been depressed all along being away from his/her family.

I am now a person of strength and confidence and I can vouch it, that I will never me be dehumanize by others. I would not stay in this Company if I ever feel slighted the way this former employee had been.

One nugget of wisdom I heard from someone: DO NOT DWELL ON THE NEGATIVE THINGS BECAUSE WITH THAT, YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANYTHING GOOD. CLEAN BECOMES DIRTY, ADUNDANCE BECOMES SCARCE — THEREFORE, GETTING BLINDED BY OUR EMOTIONS. INSTEAD, WE SHOULD FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT MAKE US HAPPY, THAT MAKE US SMILE, AND THE THINGS THAT MAKE US WANT TO LIVE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT'S NEXT?

But then again, To each his own.
